Saurabh and Deeksha’s story started way back in their college days in Dehradun. One fine day Saurabh spotted a beautiful girl and his heart skipped a beat. In no time, he gathered all the information about her through friends of friends of friends and the rest of the story is nothing short of a roller coaster. From taking long inter-city bus trips just to drop her home to spending sleepless nights on the phone, these two had a very sweet and simple wedding in the town of Saharanpur. And do you know what’s the best part about simple wedding? There are lots of true, raw emotions around. What more can a wedding photographer ask for? 🙂
Let me take you through the two days of their ceremonies, which started from their engagement day.
The place was little small and there was too less room for me to walk around. Though I was constrained to a spot, like I said, there were emotions all around which made my job easier 🙂
For some unknown reason, out of all, I love the photograph below. There’s nothing fancy in it, but it just speaks Saurabh & Deeksha in its most simple form.
The next day was the haldi ceremony of Deeksha.
After few hours, I was out on the streets of Saharanpur, amidst a *lot* of traffic, finding moments of happiness among the chaos. Good fun 🙂
Evening approached and there was a small mehendi ceremony down the hall.
That marked the end of the first day. The next day, of course, was the wedding and the bride started getting ready in the evening.
Meanwhile, Saurabh was half way through with his baarat. And this shot below is what they call “being at the right place at the right time” 🙂
Why make Saurabh walk when he can be lifted and transferred right? 😀
And then came the beautiful bride.
Smiling all through, the happiness was just evident on everyone’s faces.
And on Saurabh’s face too 🙂
Don’t think I have ever captured this raw and genuine emotion of sisters-in-laws’, winning the show fight 🙂
And this was the sweet and simple Saurabh & Deeksha 🙂
