Karan and Tanvi

Karan and Tanvi’s wedding was probably the most beautiful wedding I got a chance to shoot. It all started when Tanvi got in touch with me for a quote for her wedding. A day after that, we met at Karan’s home and finalized everything. They also told me their story, which was also an interesting one! Karan and Tanvi found each other through newspaper matrimonial (yes, it was an arranged marriage!) and after a lot of Yes and No’s from Tanvi, finally she agreed to tie the knot. Yay 😀

So here goes the whole story right from mehendi, sangeet to the final wedding. Each and every shot has a certain emotion associated with itself.

So that was all singing, dancing and celebration of the first night. The next morning, we had the Chuda ceremony of Tanvi:

After that, the haldi ceremony of both was scheduled. Here’s Karan’s haldi ceremony. And it seemed that his friends and cousins were waiting for this moment since ages to take their respective revenges of god knows what 😛

You can imagine what would have happened after that last pic 😛 Coming to Tanvi’s ceremony, it was a mix of beauty and emotions.

At last, mom couldn’t hold her tears any longer 🙂

And here comes the baarat. Let’s get the girl 😉

And while Tanvi was getting ready in her room, I managed to take this shot. And this probably became one of those shots, I fell in love with.

After the swagat of baarat, here comes the bride

The venue was beautifully lit along the pool side. Decorated in all sides by genda flowers, guests were sitting all around it, cheering and of course, clicking pictures

The excitement on Tavi’s face is evident 😛

And while everyone was getting ready for the next set of ceremony in the house, we decided to go to the terrace in hopes of getting some cool couple shots. And we actually ended up getting a cute series of them 🙂

And finally, after the sun went down and we were left with no light, I decided to create my own light and took this shot. Another one in my "in love with" shots.

And that was Karan and Tanvi. As much as I enjoyed each and every moment of the wedding, it was really tough to get everything perfectly in camera while standing on my toes all day and all night long, looking for stories and emotions everywhere and clicking them at perfect moments. But then, that’s the life of a wedding photographer 🙂

Thanks for visiting my blog. Don’t forget to put in your comments below. I would love to hear from you all.
