Jasmin & Mayank – A Jaisalmer Destination Wedding: Day 2

Welcome to the second day of Jasmin & Mayank’s destination wedding in Jaisalmer. We got over with the fun filled Day 1 and the next day came sooner than I expected. An early morning call woke me up and I was off to photograph the first event of the morning.

The morning started with the chuda ceremony of Jasmin.

The sun had just risen and the wedding venue was being set up.

While I had the time to get some cool lehenga shots with the backdrop of this collosal palace!

And it was time for the bride to get ready!

Jasmin put a surprize element in Mayank’s sherwani which was the pic of their late maternal granny. She has been very important to them and they wanted her to be the part of their wedding in some way 🙂

Meanwhile Mayank was getting ready as well

Mayank, the groom!

But of course, Jasmin was taking a little long in getting ready 😀

And there she was, the show-stopper!

And while Jamsmin got ready, the folks outside were already dancing with the baarat

Mayank looked one happy & excited groom!

The palace backdrop gave every picture the feel of a painting!

And this sequence documents the futile attempt of Jasmin’s brother to take Mayank’s shoes away 😛

And Mayank cleverly dodged his mother-in-law’s welcome 😀

However, he had to give up 😛

Alongside this beautiful venue in the middle of a pool, Jasmine was just waiting to be escorted.

The look in Mayank’s eyes explains everything

And they both exchanged the wedding vows.

One last dodge by Jasmin 🙂

Soon after the commencement of Hindu wedding ceremony, everyone was headed to the Gurdwarafor their Sikh tradition wedding.

And that was Jasmin & Mayank’s beautiful, fun & amazing destination wedding in Jaisalmer, India. It wasn’t just a wedding. It was an experience in itself.
