Forest Research Institute is not a tourist spot of Dehradun. Yet, when it comes to places worth going, it surely has a place in the list. It really is just another "institute" which provides some weird degree in some Forest Research! I don’t even know what that might be consisting of. But who cares
Anyways, jokes apart, this is a really nice place to be if you have nothing else to do. Here’s what me and my friend, Vaibhav Ganju did there this weekend:
BOO!

Ahh! The photographer inside me never dies! And people take unfair-advantage of that

That’s normal for him, don’t worry

And here comes the most interesting part. FRI has zillions of images all over the print and electronic media. But since "I" was there, there has to be something weird and different. So, this was a random thought in my mind while thinking of taking a very different shot in this cool location. I explained the idea to Ganju and this was the first try.

And after a few thousand trials, we got the Perfect Shot

Lazy Afternoon… *Yawn*…

And here goes *me* again! Photography never stops. Does it?

Here goes an awful shot by an amateur

Ganju spotted smuggling my camera equipments

A li’ll bit Photoshopping! Bleh…

Okays. Let’s give rest to my 550D. The following photographs were taken from my mobile camera (Samsung GalaxyS) with the help of Camera360 Anddroid App. (Which is one heck of a brilliant camera app available on android)

So here we come at the end of the journey. Although, we didn’t go to the museums inside (Yes, there are few dozen museums inside the building showcasing some great woody-shoody stuff) because we weren’t interested, to be honest. Rest, if you do happen to visit Dehradun, this place can be a great hang-out place.
